The Asian Pacific Islander Association is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion through education, training, and awareness.
Goal One
Increase awareness: Launch targeted recruitment campaigns in API communities, including online and offline platforms, to raise awareness about career opportunities in the LACoFD.
Goal Two
Enhance outreach: Organize informational sessions and outreach events in API communities to educate potential candidates about the LACoFD's requirements, selection process, and benefits.
Goal Three
Partner with community leaders: Build partnerships with API community leaders, organizations, and institutions to establish a network of support, referrals, and mentorship for API candidates.
